Funky Kingston is a classic album. I first heard of it in a Rolling Stone article from 1980 about Bruce Springsteen on tour. It was the cassette tape Bruce was listening to on the road between concerts and Bruce raved about it- so I automatically bought it.. Bruce also turned me on to Lucinda Williams.
